World Wind Power Instalations in 2011
- Global wind power installations increased by 41.236 MW in 2011.
- This brings total installed wind energy capacity up to 238,3 GW
- 20.9% increase on the 197,6 GW installed at the end of 2010.
- The countries which expanded their wind capacity in 2011 were above all: China, which added 18 GW, USA (6,8 GW), India (3 GW) and Germany (2 GW).
